Yin Yoga and Meridian Theory: Five Element Series
Yin Yoga and Meridian Theory: Five Element Series
This five-class series will explore Yin Yoga and Meridian Theory. Discover different Meridian lines within the body and corresponding Yin shapes to help create space both physically and mentally.
Open up to the flow of life through the study and practice of Yin Yoga and Meridian Theory. Yin Yoga, also known as meditating in shapes, is the quieter aspect of many of our Yang activities. It is an opportunity to go inward and cultivate a better understanding and connection with your physical and emotional well-being. Although a slower practice, Yin Yoga provides a mental challenge and physical edge.
Combining Yin Yoga with the study of Meridian Theory, the energetic pathways in the body, we can open space physically, mentally, and emotionally releasing stress and old stories in order to open to new opportunities and possibilities.
Each element workshop will include:
A breakdown of the five elements of the Meridian Theory.
Explanation and understanding of the practice and benefits of Yin Yoga.
An introduction to the element and its associated organs.
A 60-minute pre-recorded Yin class created around finding balance within the element.
PDF of information covered in class (including all element details & typed out class sequence).
An audio recording of an in-depth explanation of each element, functional anatomy, break down of Meridian Theory tools, and more!
7 CEC hours for YA Registered yoga teachers (non-contact hours).
Open to all levels and no previous yoga experience required.
