Foundational Introduction to Ayurvedic Principles & Finding Seasonal Balance with Avani Gilbert
Ayurveda is often called the sister science of yoga. It is a fantastic tool that we can incorporate into our lives to learn more about ourselves, become adept observers of our own experience, and create a proper environment for our health and well-being to thrive. However, what is Ayurveda, and where do we begin? How does one use it? Avani Gilbert, director of Retreat and Training Center AmaSer and lead trainer and founder of Caribe Yoga Academy, answers these questions as she demystifies the science of Ayurveda and explains how to assimilate a few of these ancient traditions and practices in your life.
In this three-part series, you will gain a general overview of Ayurvedic practices and then dive deeper into Vata (one of the three Doshas) to explore its properties, how it may be showing up in your life during this season, and explore a few ways to balance instabilities. Join live or watch the recordings in your own time. We look forward to welcoming you into this practice of connection with yourself and your inner nature.
